Bass. We love it, and we don’t mess around with it. Our subwoofer lineup has something for every kind of event, from house parties to full-scale festivals. Most of our subs are active, so all you need is a power cable, and you’re good to rumble—no external amps required.
Subs might not seem essential for smaller events of under 100 people, but we promise you that opinion is reserved for LAME events. If you care about sound quality (and you should), we highly recommend adding a sub to your gear lineup.
For bigger crowds of 100–300+, subs are a must. They’ll fill out the venue, take the load off your main speakers, and ensure your tunes hit right.
For house parties or smaller gigs, check out our QSC KS118 18″ Subwoofer. It’s perfect for weddings, corporate events, or even a cheeky house and techno night. If you’re looking to keep bass under control, our QSC KS212C Subwoofer has got you. This cardioid unit pushes bass-forward, leaving the back of the house blissfully quiet. Can the subwoofers fit in a standard sedan car?

Is the cardioid setup really necessary?
Cardioid mode is great if you’re running two subs and want to control where your bass goes. It’s not imperative, but live events that don’t want the bass to bleed onto the stage will love this feature.
